A Revenant Necromancer's Manifesto We have no kin, We produce no progeny. We love Death. Death bore us back into this world and in the truest sense of the word is our Mother, our salvation and our refuge. We have no need for religion, ritual, or spiritual practice as we are never in an un-exalted state. We know life and we know death. We are complete. We have no need to evolve. There are no surprises. We move in this world but are no longer of this world. Through the power of Oblivion we vanish as quickly as we appear. We eat sleep and defecate. We breath and the heart pumps. We persist at the expense of our humanity, as year after year, human yearnings and feelings grow weaker and weaker, till not even their memory remains. We have no care for the things of this world, beyond our delight and amusement. For this world, in our sense of time, is already a burnt cinder. We see your comings and goings and know your beginning and your end. We can assume other shapes, though at a great cost. Through the power of Oblivion we pass through walls as one would pass through foam. The Watcher comes in time of need. The Shade of our old self, a constant companion. There are a great many pretenders to the realm of the undead. They are not more than prancing cannibals, enjoying the fleeting strength that comes from preying on your own kind.
